Profile

Akbar is an Advocate enrolled in the Punjab Bar council. He completed his BA-LL.B (Honours) degree from Lahore University of Management Sciences with a minor in Political Science. Before Joining AHM & Co he interned in two of the biggest law firms in Pakistan namely Haidermota BNR & Co and Khalid Anwer & Co. In 2019 he joined AHM & Co as an Associate where he has been assisting the partners in a range of matters including Constitutional, Civil, Corporate, Labour Employment, Insurance, Competition and Customs. He is also involved in corporate advisory and transactional matters including, inter-alia, legal due diligence and drafting contracts.

Akbar is an expert in Legal research methodology and takes special interest in Constitutional litigation. He is primarily responsible for legal research, drafting pleadings and assisting partners in court.

In his spare time he likes to read. He is a keen observer of domestic and international politics, and foreign relations between Nation States. Apart from that he takes special interest in art and seeks to promote the work of young Pakistani Artists through social media.
