Adam heads the Dispute Resolution and Insurance teams at AHM & Co. Adam has over seven years experience in handling complex insurance and commercial disputes and constitutional matters before the High Courts of Pakistan and Tribunals.

In insurance, Adam handle the full range of insurance matters, from the routine to the most complex, and have a depth of experience and knowledge in the field that is unsurpassed in Pakistan. Adam represent insurers in each of the stages of the company life cycle, from initial formation, licensing and drafting policies for startups, through financial and market conduct examinations, regulatory advice and litigation.

In dispute resolution, Adam handle complex commercial litigation and constitutional matters. Adam routinely advises and represents clients, some of which include Fortune 500 companies. Currently, Adam is representing an insurance before the Sindh High Court in a winding up proceeding filed by a creditors, and is representing un-secured creditors in first ever creditors backed minority action before the Lahore High Court.

On transaction side, Adam advise clients on matters pertaining mergers and acquisition, technology, media and telecommunication. Recently, Adam has advised a major insurance company in restructuring of its investments.

Adam is a recognized practitioner by Legal500, one of the youngest from Pakistan to be recognized by Legal500. Representation experience

  • Representing Munich Re in an insurance case in which the insured sought a declaration for the cancellation of a Munich Re reinsurance agreement with New Jubilee Insurance (now Jubilee Life Insurance).
  • Representing Crescent Star Insurance Limited before the Sindh High Court in winding up proceedings filed by a creditor.
  • Advising PICIC Insurance in process of surrendering its insurance license and representing it before SECP in connected show cause notices.
  • Advising Pak-Qatar Family Takaful on a challenge to the imposition of an advertising tax on an insurance company.
  • Represented Pak Qatar Family Takaful Limited and Pak Qatar General Takaful limited and one of its director in defending the appointment of the director to the board of these insurance companies before Peshawar High Court.
  • Challenged the jurisdiction and the powers of the Federal Insurance Ombudsman to adjudicate on complaints of the policy holders on behalf of the Life Insurance Companies, before Islamabad and Lahore High Court on behalf of Pak Qatar Family Takaful Limited and Adamjee Life Assurance.
  • Representing an unsecured creditor before the Lahore High Court in minority action against mis-management of a public limited company under Section 286 of the Companies Act 2017 against Sponsors and management of Dost Steel Limited.
  • Representing a trade association before Lahore High Court in cancellation of license proceedings against the trade association.
  • Advised various insurance companies on obtaining permission for obtaining reinsurance outside Pakistan.
  • Advised an insurance company on the introduction of individual health coverage policies.
